Tower Garden HOME
I was so excited to put my Tower Garden HOME together over the weekend. If you missed my post a couple of weeks ago comparing it to the existing Tower Garden, now called the Tower Garden FLEX, you can read it here.
The first thing I noticed was the box it shipped in. The Tower Garden Home box measures 24″ x 24″ x 24″ whereas the Tower Garden FLEX box measures 30″ x 30″ x 17″.
I opened a box and a few things stood out. The new shorter stainless steel support rods, the new pump, and the new outdoor/indoor timer.
The new timer makes it super simple, and you’ll know I like to keep it simple, as it’s already been pre-programmed for you! If you’re growing indoors select “I”, if you’re growing outdoors select “O”.
The Tower Garden Home contains the following
- Reservoir base with built-in wheels
- Reservoir Lid
- 3 Tower sections
- 2 Baby Green sections
- Shower Cap and Lid
- Pump
- Swivel Hose
- Timer
- Access Port Lid
- Water Monitor
- 2 23″ rods
- 2 15″ rods
- Wingnuts, bolts, and washers
- Germination Tray, Rockwool, and Seed packets
- Mineral Blend
- pH Kit
- Measuring Cup
- Drain pipe
- Net Pots
It didn’t take more than 20 minutes to assemble and it’s really straightforward. It’s just like giant legos! Here’s the Tower Garden Home, side by side with the Tower Garden Flex. You can see there’s not much difference in height (the Tower Garden Flex on the right has an extension on it), but the 6 inches less in width makes a big difference when growing inside. And that’s it! We’re still trying to figure out where in our house to put ours (with LED Grow Lights).
