A little sunshine for your snack plate! Lunchbox Yellow peppers have a sweet, fruity flavor that makes them perfect for lunchboxes, salads and dipping—or munching while you check on your garden.

These mini sweet peppers grow approximately 2½–3 inches long and ripen from green to yellow, then golden yellow. Enjoy them fresh for a crunchy snack, or sauté them to add a splash of color to dinner.

Small Peppers, Plenty to Pick

Lunchbox Yellow produces generous harvests on tall, sturdy plants. The peppers may be snack-sized, but the plant needs room to grow! Give it plenty of light and space, with support for fruit-laden branches as needed.

  • Flavor: Sweet and fruity, with no heat.
  • Fruit size: Approximately 2½–3 inches long and 1½ inches wide.
  • Harvest color: Green to yellow, finishing golden yellow.
  • Variety: Open-pollinated.
  • Days to maturity: Approximately 63 days for green peppers or 83 days for ripe yellow peppers from transplanting. Timing varies with growing conditions.

Growing Lunchbox Yellow Peppers

Plant your seedling in a Tower Garden, another suitable hydroponic system, Lettuce Grow, a container or a soil garden. Choose a sunny outdoor spot or provide strong grow lights indoors. Leave room for the mature plant, and gently shake flowering branches to help with pollination when growing indoors.
