Primero cabbage produces attractive round to oval-round heads averaging about 3 lbs. The crisp leaves have a slightly sweet, peppery flavor and a beautiful deep red-purple color.
Cabbage prefers cooler growing temperatures between 55–75°F (13–24°C), with an optimum range of 60–70°F (16–21°C), but Primero can also produce good crops under warmer summer conditions.
