How to Clean Your Tower Garden—The Easy Way
-
Disassemble the Tower Garden and empty the reservoir.
If you have plants you want to keep growing, pop their roots into a tote with a few inches of water—just enough to cover the roots. No need to add minerals since they’ll only be in there for a few hours or overnight. Easy peasy. Leave the bottom growing pot attached to the reservoir lid. It can be tricky to get it back on properly. -
Gather your growing pots, clips, and net pots.
Toss them all into the reservoir like a little pool party. -
Fill the reservoir with water and… wait for it… one cup of citric acid.
Let everything soak for at least an hour. If it’s been a hot minute since your last deep clean (no judgment!), or if your water is on the hard side, give it a longer soak. -
Rinse, rinse, rinse.
Take each piece out, empty the reservoir, and give everything a good rinse. Trust us—you’ll be amazed at how shiny and new it all looks. -
Reassemble your Tower Garden.
