Can You Grow a Tower Garden FLEX Indoors?
Absolutely. HOME may be designed specifically for indoor growing, but FLEX can also make an excellent indoor garden.
The biggest consideration indoors is light. Unless your growing location receives enough consistent natural light, you'll need appropriate grow lights. Tower Garden LED Grow Lights are available for both systems and allow you to provide consistent light regardless of the season or location of your tower.
When growing indoors, we generally recommend running grow lights for 14–16 hours per day and allowing the plants a period of complete darkness overnight.

What Should You Grow Indoors?
You can grow many of the same crops in either model, but indoor gardens usually perform best when crop selection matches the available space and lighting.
Lettuce, basil, parsley, cilantro, kale and other leafy greens are particularly well suited to indoor Tower Gardens because they stay relatively compact. Smaller varieties of tomatoes, peppers and other fruiting crops can also be grown indoors when they receive enough light and have adequate room.
Larger plants and vigorous vines need more space and can shade neighboring plants, so consider mature plant size when deciding what goes into each growing port.

Which Tower Garden Is Easier to Move?
If mobility matters, HOME has the advantage because its reservoir includes built-in wheels. This can be useful when you need to reposition the tower for cleaning, harvesting or access to the surrounding area.
FLEX has a larger 20-gallon reservoir and does not have the same built-in wheel system, so it's generally better to choose its growing location before filling the reservoir.
