No! ANYONE can grow a Tower Garden. There are videos, growing guides, and forums to help you on your journey. We are also working out the details to hold online workshops that you can attend for free when you purchase your Tower through us! If you purchased your Tower elsewhere, you can attend our workshops for a small fee.

You can grow 20 plants in the standard Tower Garden FLEX.

This can be extended to 28 with an Extension Kit, 40 with a Combo Extension Kit or 52 with a Baby Greens Extension Kit, all while using the same water, same space and same electric.

A Tower Garden HOME can grow up to 32 plants.

Commercial Tower Farms can grow up to 52 plants per Tower.

Anything that grows above the ground, excluding bushes, trees and grapevines can be grown in a Tower.  This includes lettuces, herbs, greens, squash, tomatoes, melons, beans, strawberries and more. We offer a variety of seedlings available to purchase that you can be transplanted into your Tower Garden on receipt. You can view the seedlings here.

YES! The Tower extends your growing season so you can grow further into the summer and winter than you would in the soil. You can also grow year-round inside your home with the Tower Garden LED Grow Light Kit.

They found that “in conclusion, the study reveals that plants grown in aeroponic systems show a higher product yield and comparable antioxidant properties (using DPPH and cell-based assays) to those grown in the soil.”

Fruits and vegetables need UV light to survive, whether that comes from the sun or grow lights. Leafy greens, lettuce, and herbs need at least 5 hours of direct sunlight. Fruiting crops like tomatoes, squash, cucumbers, and peppers need 8 hours or more. Think of it this way, the more hours of sun they have, the faster they will grow, the more produce you’ll have! If you don’t have enough direct sun, you can grow inside with the Tower Garden®Indoor Grow Light Kit.

For Tower Garden HOME, the reservoir (at the base of Tower Garden) holds 13 gallons of water and is 24" x 24" (2 sq. ft.). It stands 58" tall and holds up to 32 plants (16 full-size plants + 16 baby greens/herbs).

For the Tower Garden FLEX, the reservoir holds 20 gallons of water and is 30" x 30" (3 sq. ft.). It stands 55" tall and holds up to 20 plants. Extension kits are available for the FLEX unit providing growing ports.
