Step-by-Step: Setting Up Your Tower Garden HOME Support Cage
How to Assemble the Tower Garden Home Support Cage
If you’re ready to grow big, beautiful crops in your Tower Garden Home, you may want to set up the Support Cage. This handy accessory gives vining, fruiting, and taller crops the structure they need to thrive—without toppling over or smothering smaller plants. 🍅🥒🌿
Whether you’re growing tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, or even climbing beans, the Support Cage is your plant’s best friend. Here’s how to assemble it:
What’s in the Box? 📦
Your Tower Garden Home Support Cage comes with three types of parts:
-
Rings (x3) – these snap together to create circular support tiers.
-
Support Rods (x6) – sturdy rods that connect the rings
Step-by-Step Assembly 🛠️
1. Start at the Base
Insert the plastic supports into the designated spots on the Tower Garden Home reservoir. Make sure they are snug. Use a rubber mallet if necessary.
2. Add the First Ring
Slide a support ring down over the Tower and press it securely onto the plastic support rods.
3. Build Upwards
Repeat steps one and two with the remaining 12 support rods and two support rings.
4. Secure Everything
Double-check that all rods are secure.
Growing Tips with the Support Cage 🌞
-
Think About Light & Airflow – Large crops like cucumbers can shade smaller ones. Guide vines and prune as needed to let light reach your smaller herbs and leafy greens.
-
Plan Your Planting Pyramid – Plant larger, climbing crops near the bottom of your Tower Garden and smaller crops up top to avoid shading issues.
-
Alternative Support – Sometimes, a cage isn’t the best choice. For very large plants, you might use a tomato stake or even a trellis placed beside your Tower Garden.
Why Use a Support Cage? 🌟
-
Keeps tall heavy plants upright and/or supported.
-
Protects smaller crops from being crowded out.
-
Improves airflow (less chance of disease).
-
Makes harvesting easier—no tangled mess!
With your Tower Garden Home Support Cage assembled and in place, your plants can now grow tall, healthy, and productive—just the way nature intended, but with a little extra help from you. 🌱💚
