In 2014, Orange County Government introduced the Our Home for Life sustainability plan, emphasizing community engagement, natural resource conservation, and improved access to healthy food. As part of this initiative, the Orange County Convention Center proudly integrates urban farming into its facility, demonstrating its dedication to sustainability, environmental education, and public well-being.

The farm serves as an educational platform for thousands of visitors at one of the nation’s busiest convention centers. All produce grown is supplied to Centerplate Corp., the Convention Center’s food service provider, ensuring fresh, high-quality ingredients for event catering.
