Herbs - Basil, Genovese Seeds

Genovese Basil is the classic Italian basil prized for its rich aroma and bold, sweet flavor with subtle hints of pepper and clove. This variety is the traditional choice for making fresh pesto, and it’s equally delicious in salads, pasta dishes, sauces, and as a fragrant garnish.

Plants grow 18–24 inches tall and produce large, glossy green leaves throughout the growing season. Genovese basil is highly productive and responds well to regular harvesting, encouraging even more fresh leaf growth.

This versatile herb thrives in warm, sunny conditions with well-drained soil and grows beautifully in garden beds, containers, hydroponic systems, or indoor gardens with grow lights. Easy to grow and incredibly flavorful, Genovese basil is a must-have for any herb garden. 🌿

Harvest when the fruit is six to eight inches long or still tender. Harvest will be lengthened if you keep picking.
