Edible Flowers - Chamomile

Chamomile is a fragrant edible flower with small, daisy-like blooms and a sweet, apple-like aroma. The flowers can be harvested fresh or dried and are traditionally used for chamomile tea, as well as garnishes for salads, desserts and drinks.

Are chamomile flowers edible?
Yes. German chamomile flowers are edible and are commonly harvested for tea and culinary use. Pick the flowers when they are fully open for the best flavor and aroma.

Harvesting & Drying:
Harvest flowers when they are in full bloom. For drying, spread the flower heads in a single layer in a dry, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight. Once completely dry, store them in an airtight container.
