Viola seedlings, also known as Hearts-Ease, Johnny Jump-Up and European Field Pansy, produce cheerful tricolor flowers in shades of purple, yellow and white. The small blooms have a mild wintergreen flavor and make beautiful edible garnishes for salads, desserts and drinks.

These live viola seedlings can be grown in Tower Gardens, other hydroponic systems, containers, raised beds or traditional soil gardens. Plants may reseed and are perennial in Zones 4–9.
