Fruit - Cantaloupe, Sugar Cube

Sugar Cube Cantaloupe is a personal-size melon known for its intensely sweet flavor and aromatic, deep-orange flesh. The uniform, heavily netted fruits typically weigh 2–2½ lbs., making them a perfect size for individual servings.

This compact cantaloupe variety produces delicious melons with a hint of vanilla bean ice cream flavor. Sugar Cube also offers a strong disease package and a long harvest window and is well suited for both northern and southern growing regions.

Our live Sugar Cube cantaloupe seedlings can be grown in Tower Gardens, other hydroponic systems, containers, raised beds or traditional soil gardens. Provide plenty of light and support the vines and developing fruit as the plant grows.

Harvest at full slip, when a gentle tug easily removes the ripe melon from the vine.
