    Leonardo Red Radicchio is a Chioggia-type chicory that produces dense, round heads about 4–5 inches in diameter. Its crisp leaves develop a beautiful purple-red color and pleasantly bitter flavor, especially in cooler fall weather.

    This live radicchio seedling arrives growing in rockwool and is ready to transplant into Tower Garden and other hydroponic systems, Lettuce Grow, containers, raised beds, or garden soil.

    Leonardo is uniform and slow to bolt, with excellent tolerance to warmer conditions. Enjoy the crisp leaves fresh in salads or add them to cooked dishes for color and flavor.
