Greens - Swiss Chard, Rainbow Seeds

Grow beautiful Rainbow Swiss Chard from seed. This colorful heirloom variety produces vibrant stalks in shades of red, pink, yellow, orange, and white, contrasted against dark green leaves.

The tender leaves and crunchy stems are both edible and excellent for sautéing, steaming, soups, and fresh cooking. Rainbow Swiss Chard is productive and easy to grow, providing a steady harvest of colorful greens throughout the growing season.

Harvest individual outer leaves as needed while allowing the center of the plant to continue growing for repeated harvests.

Also known as Five Color Silverbeet, this Australian heirloom was once nearly lost but was later rediscovered and reintroduced.

Each packet contains one gram, which can vary from 30 to 50 seeds.

Start harvesting individual leaves when they are about eight inches in length. The leaves become tough with age.
