Nufar Basil is a classic Italian-style sweet basil with large, flavorful green leaves that can reach up to 4 inches long. Its familiar sweet basil flavor makes it an excellent choice for pesto, pasta, pizza, salads, sauces and fresh garnishes.

Nufar is especially valued by growers for its resistance to Fusarium wilt. The vigorous plants produce plenty of aromatic leaves and respond well to regular harvesting, making this a great basil variety for an ongoing supply of fresh herbs.

Our Nufar basil seedlings arrive growing in rockwool and are ready to transplant into a Tower Garden, Lettuce Grow or other hydroponic system. They can also be transplanted into containers, raised beds or directly into soil.
