    Red Rubin Basil is a striking purple-red basil with deeply colored leaves and a classic sweet basil flavor. The compact, bushy plants grow to approximately 12 inches tall and 10 inches wide, adding beautiful color to both the garden and the kitchen.

    The flavorful leaves are excellent fresh in salads, pasta and garnishes, and their vibrant color makes Red Rubin an especially attractive choice for infused oils and vinegars. Begin lightly harvesting once the plant is established, then harvest more heavily just before flowering for the best leaf production.

    Our Red Rubin basil seedlings arrive growing in rockwool and are ready to transplant into a Tower Garden, Lettuce Grow or other hydroponic system. They can also be transplanted into containers, raised beds or directly into soil.
