    Tangerine Gem Marigold is a compact, edible marigold covered in masses of petite golden-orange flowers. Also known as signet marigold, its small flowers and finely divided foliage have a distinctive citrusy fragrance and make a colorful addition to an edible garden.

    The flowers are edible and can be used as a garnish for salads, desserts, egg dishes and more. The petals have a floral flavor with notes of citrus and spice. Remove the petals from the flower base before eating, as the base can be bitter.

    Our Tangerine Gem Marigold seedlings arrive growing in rockwool and are ready to transplant into your Tower Garden, Lettuce Grow Farmstand, hydroponic system, container, raised bed or garden.

    Growing tip: Pinch young plants to encourage branching and more flowers, and deadhead regularly to keep blooms coming. Very high temperatures can temporarily slow growth and flowering.
