Lettuce - Bibb, Buttercrunch Seeds

Grow Buttercrunch lettuce from seed for tender, flavorful heads of classic Bibb-type lettuce. Buttercrunch forms loose, rosette-shaped heads with thick, dark green leaves and a rich, buttery flavor.

This variety is prized for being slow to bolt and more heat tolerant than many lettuces, helping extend the harvest as temperatures begin to warm. The crisp yet tender leaves are excellent for fresh salads, sandwiches and wraps.

Buttercrunch lettuce seeds can be grown in Tower Gardens and other hydroponic systems, containers, raised beds or garden soil.

Thrives in cool spring and fall weather (50° F to 60° F). but can handle summer heat. Can withstand occasional exposure to light frost but if very cold weather is coming, protect your plants with a frost cover.
