All Year Round is a reliable butterhead variety that produces loosely formed heads even in warmer conditions. This adaptable variety performs well in both cool and warm climates.

True to its name, All Year Round can be sown from early spring through late summer in many regions, allowing gardeners to enjoy extended harvest periods throughout the growing season.

This historic variety dates back to 1876, when it was first listed by American seedsmen through the seed company of James J. H. Gregory. Though its exact origin is believed to be foreign, All Year Round has remained a dependable lettuce variety for generations of gardeners. 🌱

Thrives in cool spring and fall weather (50° F to 60° F). but can handle summer heat. Can withstand occasional exposure to light frost but if very cold weather is coming, protect your plants with a frost cover.
