    Muir is one of our most heat-tolerant lettuce varieties and one of the slowest to bolt in our summer growing trials. This makes it an excellent choice for warm-weather growing and Florida gardens.

    Muir is a green Batavian lettuce with light green, extra-wavy leaves that form dense heads. Harvest it young as a mini lettuce or allow it to mature into large, full-size heads. The leaves stay crisp with excellent flavor.

    This live Muir lettuce seedling is ready to grow in a Tower Garden, Lettuce Grow system, other hydroponic or aeroponic systems, or transplant into soil.

    Harvest: Approximately 21–35 days
    Best for: Salads, sandwiches and fresh eating
    Growing characteristics: Heat tolerant and slow to bolt

    Muir is one of our favorite lettuce varieties for warmer conditions and a variety we’ve found performs particularly well during our Florida growing season.
