Lettuce - Romaine, Breen

Breen Romaine Lettuce is a compact mini romaine with beautiful bronze-red leaves and crisp, flavorful hearts. Plants form small heads early and stay compact, making Breen an excellent choice when growing space is limited.

Breen typically grows to about 8 inches tall and can be harvested as a mini head or grown for cut-and-come-again harvesting. Its compact growth habit makes it especially well suited to vertical and small-space gardens.

Breen performs best in cooler growing conditions and is slow to become oversized. Harvest can begin in as little as 21–35 days depending on growing conditions and the size of leaves you prefer.
