Lettuce - Romaine, Red Seeds

Grow colorful Red Romaine lettuce from seed, a gourmet romaine variety prized for its vibrant color, crisp texture, and fresh flavor. The elongated leaves range from bright green to deep red and bronze, with the richest colors developing in cooler weather.

Red Romaine offers a crisp, crunchy texture with a slightly tangy flavor, making it an excellent choice for fresh salads and mixed greens. Its upright growth habit and attractive coloring also make it a beautiful addition to hydroponic systems, garden beds, and containers.

These Red Romaine lettuce seeds can be grown in Tower Garden and other hydroponic systems, containers, raised beds, or traditional gardens.

Originally introduced around 1950 by the Dessert Seed Company in California, Red Romaine remains a popular choice for gardeners looking to add both flavor and color to their harvest.
