Ping Tung Long Eggplant Seeds

Ping Tung Long is a highly productive heirloom eggplant from Taiwan known for its long, slender fruits and exceptional flavor. Each vigorous plant can produce up to 20 smooth, glossy purple eggplants that grow about 12–14 inches long and 1–2 inches wide.

The fruits are tender, thin-skinned, and mild with a slightly sweet flavor that makes them perfect for grilling, sautéing, roasting, and stir-fries. Plants perform especially well in warm climates and continue producing even through hot summer weather.

For the straightest fruits, staking or light support is recommended. Ping Tung Long is a favorite among gardeners and chefs for its high yields, delicate texture, and rich flavor. 🍆🌱

This is a tropical plant and needs warm temperatures to thrive. A warm growing season of 100 days or more is optimal.
