Grow a productive Taiwanese heirloom from Ping Tung Long Eggplant Seeds. This vigorous variety is known for its long, slender purple fruits, tender texture, and excellent flavor.

Each plant can produce up to 20 smooth, glossy purple eggplants measuring approximately 12–14 inches long and 1–2 inches wide. The fruits are tender and thin-skinned, with a mild, slightly sweet flavor that's excellent for grilling, sautéing, roasting, and stir-fries.

Ping Tung Long performs especially well in warm climates and continues producing through hot summer weather. For the straightest fruits, staking or light support is recommended.
