Patio Baby plants stay compact at approximately 20–24 inches tall and are thornless, making them easy to manage and harvest. Despite their small size, the plants are highly productive and can produce up to 50 fruits per plant throughout the season.
The deep purple, egg-shaped fruits are best harvested young at approximately 2–3 inches long. They have tender skin that doesn't need peeling, a mild, slightly sweet flavor, and very few seeds. They're excellent for stir-fries, grilling, and roasting.
