Tuffy is an acorn squash variety known for its excellent flavor and dry texture. The fruit develops attractive, heavily ribbed dark-green skin with thick, sweet flesh that becomes even sweeter after harvest.
Fruits average approximately 2 pounds, with plants producing an average of 5–6 fruits. For the sweetest flavor, allow harvested squash to cure for two or more weeks before eating.
