    Description

Indeterminate. Everglades tomato, often called the Wild Florida Everglades tomato, produces tiny currant-sized fruits packed with incredible flavor. These small pink tomatoes deliver a surprisingly rich, sweet-tart taste that makes them perfect for snacking right off the plant.

The plants are extremely vigorous, sprawling, and highly productive, often producing hundreds of fruits throughout the season. Known for their heat tolerance, drought tolerance, and natural pest resistance, Everglades tomatoes are one of the few varieties that thrive in hot, humid climates like Florida.

This rare Florida heirloom was shared by tomato expert Craig LeHoullier, who described it as a true "tomato factory." The tiny fruits grow in abundance on indeterminate vines and continue producing throughout the growing season.

Because these tomatoes are so small, the stems sometimes remain attached when picking, which can occasionally cause the fruit to split slightly. Despite this, Everglades tomatoes are prized for their intense flavor and exceptional productivity.
