Grow classic Genovese basil from seed. This traditional Italian basil is prized for its large, aromatic green leaves and bold, sweet flavor with subtle hints of pepper and clove. It's the classic basil for homemade pesto and is also delicious in pasta, sauces, salads, and other fresh dishes.

Genovese basil plants grow approximately 18–24 inches tall and produce large, glossy green leaves throughout the growing season. Regular harvesting encourages fresh new growth and provides a steady supply of basil for the kitchen.

This productive basil thrives in warm, sunny conditions and can be grown in garden beds, containers, Tower Gardens, and other hydroponic systems.
