Herbs - Chive Seeds

Grow fresh culinary chives from seed. Chives are an easy-to-grow perennial herb prized for their slender green leaves and mild onion flavor. Harvest them fresh for potatoes, eggs, soups, salads, dips, sauces, fish, and more.

Chives produce slender green stems that can be harvested as needed throughout the growing season. Both the stems and unopened flower buds are edible and can be used fresh or dried.

If the scrapes (stalks) start looking old, simply cut them back. During the growing season, the plants will continually regrow. Use fresh by harvesting or dry and enjoy as a garnish.
